The Global Head of Market Monitoring is a Senior Product Manager role that will be responsible for driving product strategy, requirements, and roadmap.


Interact with the senior management and technical teams to drive the development, marketing, and support of the company's product offerings. A verifiable track record of success in defining/refining product requirements for enterprise software products focused on the Investment Management vertical is critical.


Responsible for the propositions for I&A business segments on Real Time portfolio management which includes charting, attribution and contribution of portfolios, and real time calculations of these components. A users portfolio(s) is at the center of market-monitoring for investment managers, and the successful candidate will have a strong understanding of how to synthesize the workflow of funded and unfunded portfolios. This includes within grid, charting, and MS Office tools.


  • Key driver of commercial strategy and competitive analysis

  • Responsible for overall review of group commercial activities (with business teams) and identification of key areas of value that will serve to improve transparency of underlying product activities
    Define overall product strategy, market/product requirements, and product roadmap

  • Track market trends and competitive offerings, interface with customers, services, and sales organization and drive product direction to ensure that product capabilities meet market needs and offer significant differentiation.

  • Create product overall design and workflow against business plan

  • Deliver a real-time market monitoring and portfolio analytics workflow

  • Unique capabilities that create a differentiated offering

  • Tangible increase in revenues

Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in product management/product marketing. Knowledge of Investment Management end users, required. Must have an understanding of buy-side investment managers. Knowledge of Corporate or Investment Banking workflow is a plus.

  • Strong domain expertise in Real time market monitoring, and how user workflow navigates through things like funded and unfunded portfolios and out to other desktop capabilities and analytics (including things like our mobile offerings).

  • Must have a proven Product Management track record of success in defining/refining product requirements for enterprise software products focused on the Investment Management Vertical.

  • Experience and working knowledge of enterprise system software, products and competitive landscape is a plus.

  • Ongoing relationships within the financial marketplace, specifically analysts and portfolio managers a plus.

  • Proven ability to identify key customer and market requirements and translate them into detailed product requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Strong skills in making presentations and demonstrating products to varying audiences (e.g., customers, analysts, partners, technical peers, non-technical professionals)

  • Strong leadership, and business strategy skills, and energy and passion for your work and the product

  • Experience in both established companies and high-technology start-ups a plus.

  • BS degree Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering or related field. MBA is a plus.
