My client is implementing a new middleware platform but is not satisfied with the commercial solutions available. They are therefore looking for someone to join a team of highly skilled developers to lead the design and development of MQ/ MOM message orientated middleware for a highly transactional environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong development background – ideally (java although C++ considered) and extensive exposure to middleware and messaging development - high-availability, network, sockets, monitoring etc. Any experience around WebSphere MQ, Sonic MQ, Active MQ etc will be relevant but you need to have a very strong track record around messaging or be highly adaptable.

This is a long term project and there is the chance to get involved in other major development projects within this and other teams in the company. Excellent opportunity base in London.
