The Finance Director in the Equities Finance is required to perform a key business partnership function with Senior Equity Business heads in HK.  As the FD, you will be the primary representative within Finance for Global markets businesses, acting upon existing and new product/structures discussions and offering advice and independent challenge. The appointee will own and present the Financials for a part of the HK Global markets business, plus have an interactive understanding of the regional and global businesses. You will also be the key contact for advice and resolution of the more complex product or accounting queries arising across the team.

To be eligible for this vacancy you should have a top degree in Mathematical/Business subject, Accounting qualification preferable/CFA.  Have atleast 4 plus years of post qualified experience in a Finance, Control or other Analytical area within a financial institution, supporting either a diverse or complex/structured product business; have a strong understanding of financial products, proven experience in market and/or credit risk, independent pricing functions, control environments, accounting practice and disclosure. Must be confident and articulate partner to multiple functions including heads of businesses.
