Candidates must be qualified accountants (or equivalent). Candidates must have private equity financial control/fund accounting experience gained within a UK based private equity firm

This private equity firm requires a financial controller to join its team in London. This is an established business with a very strong track record. You will report directly to the CFO. You will work on both the funds and the management company and will be involved in a wide range of varied activities. You will have direct contact with senior management, the investment team and investors and will be expected to play a significant role in the development of this business. This is a strategic as well as financial role.

You will need the following skills and experience:

• Candidates must be qualified accountants (or equivalent)
• Candidates must have private equity financial control/fund accounting experience from a UK based firm
• Detailed knowledge of fund / partnership accounting concepts, accounts preparation and audit
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• A proactive attitude and a strong enthusiasm for finance
• Experience of supervising staff, being responsible for all aspects of their management and appraisal

Base salary is competitive and there is a discretionary bonus.
