Macquarie Securities Group (MSG) encompasses Macquarie's institutional stockbroking, equity derivatives and equity finance activities. MSG utilises its skills in research and risk management to develop equity-based financial solutions and services for clients globally, providing analysis and market intelligence across key industry sectors. Working on a newly established and rapidly expanding European-based trading desk, your market knowledge and entrepreneurial spirit will be instrumental in assisting to grow our business.

Reporting to the Head of Volatility Trading, you will be responsible for market-making options/volatility on all major European indices to institutional clients, mark vol surfaces, manage and hedge risk. A key measure of your success in this role will be your ability to forge strong partnerships with our sales desk.

You will:

• hold appropriate academic qualifications
• demonstrate a proven and progressive work history in the derivatives market within an investment banking environment
• ideally bring experience in both flow vanilla and light exotic index options
• be commercial in your approach, driven and tenacious
