Portfolio Consultant- VP
Responsibilities Include:
• The Portfolio Consultant will be primarily responsible for developing and implementing investment plans for high net worth individuals and small institutions.
• They will work directly with the sales force to develop and market investment plans for the firm’s clients including analysis of current portfolios, proposed asset allocation and proposed implementation.
• The consultant will also work closely with our CIO and investment solutions teams to understand the complete platform so as to identify best solutions for client needs.
• They will participate in client and vendor meetings with some travel involved.
Skills Required:
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to the sales force, clients and the different product groups internally and externally
• Knowledge of investment vehicles across various asset classes
• Ability to gather information qualitatively and quantitatively across a range of sources
• Ability to analyze and make recommendations with supporting documentation
• Service oriented with a minimum of 4 years industry experience
• Series 7 and Series 65 preferred with 3 month completion required as of hire date
• Advanced degree and/or CFA preferred
• Proficient in asset allocation software, excel, powerpoint, and other financial software.
