This individual will assist with the structure and implementation of a large scale data warehouse.

This position is a consulting position for three months

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS*

1)Develops and applies state-of-the-art methods, theories and research techniques to the specification, design development, implementation, and maintenance of complex software and hardware.

2)Works closely with product management to analyze marketing requirements, technology trends, customer needs, and competitive threats and, as a result, devises technical solutions. 

3)Focus time on “high return” activities; avoid distractions of non-essential details

4)Continually looks for areas of improvement in projects, products, processes. Pushes and sells ideas in a constructive manner to appropriate parties.

5)Display client and Lewtan needs are the primary focus by being creative within requirements and environment without being needlessly complex.

PREPARATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

B.S. Computer Science/Engineering; master’s degree will be a plus. 

Financial (fixed income) knowledge and Structure Finance knowledge a plus. 

The individual must have deep experience with Microsoft SQL server particularly with 2005 and 2008 enterprise edition. This person must also have a strong knowledge of and experience with Analysis Services along with relational database engine.

Experience with integration services, database analysis, data mapping, logical/physical data modeling, physical database design based on business requirements, skills in extraction, transformation and loading with MS SQL server. In addition, this person must be capable of demonstrating the equivalent of a minimum of 5+ years of MS SQL server design and implementation experience (2000, 2005, 2008).
