Introduction
Our client is a Geneva based multi-strategy hedge fund with over €1bn under management. They are at an exciting stage of growth with plans to build further their pan -European institutional investor base. Their loans portfolio forms an important part of their overall product strategy.

Role & objectives
To help in the day to day management of a substantial global loans portfolio . As a member of a small portfolio management team, based in Geneva you will be instrumental in the day to day trading activity, and will work closely with a senior portfolio manager. You should be a highly competent loans trader able to assist the senior portfolio manager in the day to day trading of the portfolio

Experience

• You should have at least 3 years direct experience of trading loans, ideally with significant experience of the illiquid loans market
• Experience in distressed loans would be helpful
• Buy side experience would be useful but not essential .
• Strong understanding of the practicalities of trading loans

Skills

•  Strong technical knowledge of the loans markets
•  Ability to work in small team environment
•  Strong fundamental credit analysis skills
•  Strong communication skills with an ability to communicate decisions clearly and confidently
