A large and prestigious hedge fund based in the Stamford, CT area is seeking a mathematically-inclined Analyst to join their growing team. Must have impressive GPA and SAT scores and excellent communications skills.

In this role, the Analyst will learn to structure, analyze and rebalance client portfolios across all major asset classes and investment strategies using proprietary cutting-edge models.  This position requires a BS/BA degree in mathematics, engineering, physics or similar from a top university, and an impressive GPA (>3.4).  Also requires strong quantitative/analytical skills, effective written and oral communications abilities, and the composure to well under pressure and make rapid decisions.  Must be a power Excel/VBA user; proficiency in SQL is helpful but not required.  As this is a junior role, it is suitable for persons with 1-3 years of fulltime work experience.  This position offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, as well as opportunities for career advancement.  Please include GPA and SAT scores Total/Math/Verbal on resume.  Must have excellent communications skills.
