Focus Capital Markets the Brand "Name" in Wall St. Technolgy is looking to hire as many as 50 developers for its trading systems consulting group. Scott Gerson, the President of Focus has over 35  years in the industry and is personally over-seeing this expansion. We are looking for hands on developers with serious expertise in UNIX/C++ along with multithreading/synchronization and distributed computing as we break the sub-microsecond transaction barrier. Ours is an open environment and you must be dedicated. These are not settle and disappear positions. You should be comfortable operating with multi-functional teams and debating the merits of competing technology and operational choices in a frank and open manner. We are truly "think out of the box" developers that don't need books to code, many of us have written them. Whether consulting or full-time our average employee is with us for 10 years.
