Manager - Financial Services Treasury Advisory

Our client, a world leader in professional and advisory services, is seeking an accomplished and experienced Treasury Manager to join their prestigious Global Treasury Advisory Services Group. The Global Treasury Group, a dynamic and growing practice within the Risk Management & Financial Advisory Services Offering, specializes in providing integrated treasury consulting and advisory services to a wide range of financial institutions (bank, broker-dealer, insurance).

Managers provide leadership to a team of professionals serving financial services clients.  This team will advise financial services clients on a range of risk management services in the treasury area including asset liability management / ALCO, liquidity risk management, capital management, funds transfer pricing (FTP) and other treasury activities. Including:

• Critically analyzing the policies, procedures, people, processes, and systems used by financial institutions and capital markets participants in the treasury area to identify, assess, measure, monitor and control significant risks such as interest rate, liquidity.
• Recommending modifications to client risk management practices and infrastructures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of their business processes and risk management programs.
• Designing and implementing creative and practical solutions aimed towards improving clients overall risk profiles, increasing the efficiency of capital usage and optimizing business practices, procedures, controls and governance.

Managers in the Global Treasury Advisory Services Group are responsible for managing large complex treasury projects, developing and maintaining productive relationships with client management, managing and mentoring staff, and working on an ongoing basis to develop innovative treasury management solutions for clients and improve and expand the practice’s treasury offering in the market place.

Requirements:

Relevant experience with a sophisticated financial institution treasury (bank , broker-dealer, insurance) or professional services firm (Big 4 or similar treasury/risk management advisory). The successful candidate will have significant experience in managing complex, globally integrated projects with a focus on asset-liability management, interest rate risk, funding and liquidity risk and related controls, quantitative modeling and business process and a desire to apply their skill sets with a cutting edge treasury advisory organization.
