PWM Compliance advises and assists the business unit Private Wealth Management in assuring compliance with the rules and regulations that govern our industry. In PWM Compliance Frankfurt we currently offer a part-time working student position for 6 months starting in January 2013.

Working Student in PWM Compliance, 20 hours per week

PWM Compliance advises and assists the business unit Private Wealth Management in assuring compliance with the rules and regulations that govern our industry.

In PWM Compliance Frankfurt we currently offer a part-time working student position for 6 months starting in January 2013.

Primary Responsibilities:

Some of your responsibilities may include supporting the team with:

  • Monitoring compliance with firmwide and divisional employee trading policies
  • Interacting closely with Investment professionals and assisting them with compliance matters requiring real-time judgment and strong familiarity with business and trading practices
  • Assisting in customer suitability, due diligence, and account-opening matters
  • Review of marketing material
  • Helping to develop and update policies and procedures manuals, and supervisory manuals
  • Working with the Legal Department to advise the business units regarding regulatory requirements and interpretation and application of rules and regulations
  • Preparing certain regulatory reports and overseeing trade reports
  • Ensuring that our professionals secure and maintain proper registrations and licensing, and ensuring they fulfill ongoing obligations to meet their continuing education requirements, as well as taking appropriate certification
  • Conducting training on compliance issues

Qualifications:

  • University student/ graduate or equivalent, preferably combined with previous experience in Compliance
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • A team playing attitude and strong interpersonal skills
  • Intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to learn
  • German and English language skills essential
  • Ability to adapt and a high work output
